Forrest Gump’s mama said you can tell a lot about a person from their shoes.
To which we reply: you can also tell a lot about a shoe from its person. Namely, whether that shoe is comfortable or not.
Good for you, we already went out and found the shoe that is going to make you extremely comfortable this fall. In any situation. It’s a collaboration between two of our favorite companies, and pretty much represents the best of both.
Released this week, this new line of shoes unites one of our go-to casual menswear brands (Grayers) with the Cali-based footwear gurus at SeaVees (who, side note, have been killing it recently — their new slip-on Chukkas might be our runner-up shoe choice for fall).
The result? A line of limited-edition sneakers and desert boots that mix classic silhouettes and seasonal colors with a modern sensibility. Think casual kicks you can still pull off with a suit.
The kicks in question:
The Legend
The uppers are made of olive twill, dark navy wool plaid or brushed flecked flannel, with the SeaVees signature herringbone rubber outsole.
The Army Issue Sneaker Low
An olive twill upper matched with a full-grain leather toe cap.
Army Issue Sneaker High
Dark navy wool plaid flannel and a full-grain leather toe cap … it’s like the nicest Converse you’d ever own.
Maslon Desert Boot
Brushed flecked flannel and a suede heel distinguish these “suiting quality” boots.
The best part? They’re all under $120.
Comfortable on the wallet, too.
